This short course aims to give you an understanding of the main LGBTQIA terms and who they refer to, including recognition of the main flags and their history, the use of pronouns, intersectionality and how to be an effective ally.
In addition to our E-learning option, this course is now available as a bolt-on to our very successful Transgender Awareness and Understanding course. This includes both Teams and Face to Face presentations. This bolt-on will extend the Trans Awareness course by around 45 minutes
Everyone is the simple answer. Everyone and particularly those in a public-facing role, be that the police or other emergency services, to business managers, ship captains and shop floor workers.

As a bolt-on to the Transgender Awareness and Understanding course there is an additional cost of £125.00 plus VAT, based upon 20 delegates.
You will learn what the different terminology means, which flags represent which groups, and learn to accept people’s differences and be more inclusive.
